A Levesque #61 - Last Rope

I can't even begin to describe the feelings that I have built up inside of me lately.  This is going to be personal mainly because God gifted me with the ability to not care about your opinion, and this blog isn't for people who know me per se.  It's mainly for my children so they can look and see everything will work out.   NO MATTER WHAT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE HOPE. I've been struggling. Never have I seen such selfishness. Never have I seen so much greed. Never have I seen so much betrayal.  Never have I seen families ripped apart because of ego and pride.   My house and my family will not be torn apart in the process.  We serve the Lord, and no weapon formed against us will prosper.  We are formed on a rock, not sand to blow away when trials come our way.   Somedays will be hard. Shit, somedays are hard. Somedays it will rain. Then, Somedays the sun will shine so bright you'll forget that it was ever raining.  Never give up on those you love.   Pray for them from

A.Levesque #13 - Happiness - How to find it, and how to keep it.

Harvard pushed out a happiness study.  The research that was produced in this study was phenomenal.  They studied 720 men from all walks of life.  I was watching the information at the end of my seat.  Not only did they do surveys but they implemented many other different aspects like medical exams.  There was only one thing that always determined whether someone was happy or not, and that was whether or not they had good relationships.

The information is incredible.  I started to look back on my own life.

When I was unhappy and miserable, I didn't really have any good relationships.
When I was happy but still had the same problems, I had very good relationships with my family, friends, coworkers.

Think about your life.  Are you happy?

If your answer is no, this study may be able to help you and give you hope.  The relationships were not specific.  That means today can be your day to start a better life.  Relationships can be your key.

The thing about relationships is that they exist everywhere.  They can be at your job, at your aunt's house, or even at the store.  They can pop up out of anywhere.  Have you ever attempted to talk to the person sitting next to you on the bus, or at the laundromat?  I like to use the laundromat because I always start up conversations there.

Normally I get the same response which is like a weird look like ARE THEY TALKING TO ME.  I generally start with, so are you from here.  It is funny to see different people's reaction, but every single time every single place I thank them for talking with me.  They always smile and they two of us part ways feeling valued.

Talking to people makes them feel something.

People are so unconnected to each other that I have literally stood in a room with 10 people just standing there staring at each other.

Try to come in crashing like the Kool-Aid guy.

It may be the secret to living happily ever after.

Thanks for reading, liking, and sharing.
Love You

  1. You are saying always be willing to give of yourself when you are out there in this world. A smile, a kind word, show people you appreciate them, no matter what their job is or where you encounter them. Make that human connection. It is like a drink of water in a parched land. We are that well of water. Everyone's day goes better when giving or getting a smile, a helping hand, an acknowledgement. Who can resist a genuine smile? :)
