A Levesque #61 - Last Rope

I can't even begin to describe the feelings that I have built up inside of me lately.  This is going to be personal mainly because God gifted me with the ability to not care about your opinion, and this blog isn't for people who know me per se.  It's mainly for my children so they can look and see everything will work out.   NO MATTER WHAT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE HOPE. I've been struggling. Never have I seen such selfishness. Never have I seen so much greed. Never have I seen so much betrayal.  Never have I seen families ripped apart because of ego and pride.   My house and my family will not be torn apart in the process.  We serve the Lord, and no weapon formed against us will prosper.  We are formed on a rock, not sand to blow away when trials come our way.   Somedays will be hard. Shit, somedays are hard. Somedays it will rain. Then, Somedays the sun will shine so bright you'll forget that it was ever raining.  Never give up on those you love.   Pray for them from

The MOST IMPORTANT THING Before Posting Online

Despite the day's excitement, I decided to just dive into this blogging thing and start researching everything I could.  I went to other people's blogs (oh dear goodness) to see what they are doing, flipped through their articles, realized that this is a huge place out here with millions of people watching (or could be).  I wanted to make my blog awesome, I want people to listen to me, I want people to be happy when they leave my blog, I want people to... the list is actually quite endless.  So I googled the statement Most Important Thing Before Posting Online.  This was where I thought I should start.  Everyone had an answer.  Obviously not everyone, but there were millions of results.  Then when I searched the same thing just in a blog there were even more results.  I read through some and came to the same conclusion as before.

Everywhere you go people are telling you what to do.  Do this, and you will be successful.  I did this and was successful.  Older people even believe that you have to do certain things in order to feel successful.  I have done many things and was successful at those things when I was doing them, but why?  Someone told me I was successful.  What if you just did what you love, and became successful at something that brought you happiness?  That is what people say, everyone has heard it.  It does not work, if you love what you do.  I have loved some of my jobs, most of the people I have worked with (refrain from chuckling to all the ones I hated equally), and excelled at almost everything that I have put my mind to.

What I am starting to understand:

If you are wondering if you are happy, YOU ARE NOT.
And if you are happy, then YOU KNOW IT.

LIFE is not about living the way everyone wants you to.  It's about finding your stuff.  Whether it's your people, tribe, dream job, perfect life, it is yours.  You are the one that has to live in your head.  I know that everyone else has a big loud voice in there, but you have got to find yours.

Once you start letting go of the idea that you have to do things a certain way, you will open up doors to all kinds of new possibilities. So many wonderful possibilities.

If you need someone to support your dreams and goals, find those people.  If you are having difficulties finding those people, no one will ever know if you do NOT speak up. Get up and go see them, look them up, research them, send them a message.  If all else fails, comment below.  I will give you an opinion.  Remember that at the end of the day it is what you do that defines you not what other people do.

IT ISN'T ABOUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING BEFORE YOU POST ONLINE.  It's all about the most important thing: YOU!
