Today's Thoughts...

Don't Be Scared - We've All Been There

Everything that I do is to make this world a better place to be in. I want to change people and the way they think. At the moment, I am doing a lot of self-discovery which I believe is a lifelong journey. Sharing my experiences and stories with you hopefully will make you feel connected. Giving every person strength and support and advocating for issues that I believe in. I want people to find the strength to make the changes needed to end up happy...

I think one of the first steps to doing this is finding your true purpose.

Why do you wake up in the morning?
Why do you go to work every day?
Why do you do all the things you do?

For all of my 33 years, I have operated under the same common misconception that I need to have money.  Which is not entirely untrue.  You do need money to exchange with to get the goods and services you want.
If you live in an apartment, then you have to pay for it.

I UNDERSTAND THAT.

Let me ask you if you can try to understand this. Nothing comes without hard work.  But why do you work so hard and still struggle so hard?

What if you took the 30 minutes a day you spend on doing absolutely nothing of real value and started doing something of value.  Do you think that would change your life?

Do you have a reason to get up in the morning besides to go make money?
Are you giving other people value?  I recently started my blog, and that alone has given me an exchange of value with people.  I have had people call me out of the blue.  People have messaged me thanking me.  Someone even hugged me because I made them cry (and it wasn't my mom).  So don't think that you can't make a change for the better.

Because it becomes a chain reaction...

Story goes,
I watched a girl today who has a chit chat session every night at 8 pm.

My phone has notified me the last couple of night that she was going live.  Every night at the same time.  Well, tonight I was stuck in the bathroom with my son standing in the shower (he is three) so I opened it up.

There she was.  She couldn't see me, but I could see her.  She didn't look famous, she looked like a buddy of mine video chatting me at late hours.  She asked how my day was?  So I answered.  I asked her what she is doing?  Her answer wasn't I sell Younique.

Instead, she said to me that she meets every night at 8 pm and goes live.
She just uses her night live session to chit-chat and meets with people.  She started doing it and just loves it.  I know now that every night at 8 pm I can go online and see a friendly face.

I also know she is showing people how to put on makeup at 9 am.  Nothing at all spectacular because lots of people are doing it.  I think I am going to tune in tomorrow.  I don't wear a lot of makeup, but I have got to get on and cheer you on girlie.

Whether she knows it or not, I want to support what she does because she is giving out value in the things that she does.  She asked me how my day was.  It was only a few minutes of exchange but it was worth so much more.

Get out there and start placing people in your life that do things.
If you want to do things, YOU WANT TO SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO DO THINGS.  Find the people who are going to support and love the journey you are on.

And listen there will always be the Wills' in the world...  There will always be someone who will have something smart to say to cut you down.  Something witty to make you feel like you are wrong.  These people may even be the people that are closest to you.

THAT IS OKAY!
DON'T STOP GIVING VALUE BECAUSE SOMEONE IS DISCOURAGING!
In reality, they just don't understand.
They may never understand, and that's their problem, not yours.

Don't let them stop you.

I am going to continue to write, continue to learn and continue to share.  If you like my stuff stick around, it is only going to get better.

Please if you like it, share it.  Comment on it.

Don't be scared to share your stories...  It's how we learn.
