There are a few essential things I have learned recently that I would like to share with you...
You can not be happy if you are surrounded by miserable people!
Every person you come in contact on a daily basis is either adding or subtracting from the happiness of the day.
Good people will add value.
Miserable people will take value.
You can actually feel the energy come into you when you are surrounded by happy people. The validation of that is just as simple as someone smiling at you on the street.
It makes you smile back (unless you are the debby downer).
When someone scowls at you, how does that make you feel? It takes away from your happiness. When you surround yourself with people who are miserable, it will not be long before you too are miserable.
NOW LOOK AROUND.
Are the people in your life good for you?
Do they add to your life?
So the story goes,
I was in my favorite store the other day talking with an employee. I was discussing irrelevant information but was trying to make a decision based on outside information.
The gentleman across the counter looked at me and said, "There just comes a time when you have to make an educated decision on what is best FOR YOU because that is all that matters."
If you are surrounded by the wrong people, what are you going to do?
Nothing happens without action. NOTHING
Nothing changes if you continue the same path. You have to find the strength deep down inside of you to fight for yourself. It will hurt. It will be sad, especially if you walk away from everyone and everything you've ever known.
After you start to cut these toxic people out of your life, you will see such a transformation. It is beyond compare. No longer will you be surrounded by people who say NO YOU CAN'T!
Instead, you will be surrounded by people who have goals, dreams, and ambition. People who don't settle for what they say we can have. You don't have to be a person who works a 9-5. You don't have to be a person who takes over a family business. You really can do things that make you happy, not what makes everyone happy.
People will try to discourage. Try to hold you back. All the people you may love and adore, they may think that your dreams are insane. They may think that the ideas won't work. They may even call you irresponsible, lazy, and worthless. Don't let it sink it in.
Know that THIS NEGATIVITY is an obstacle to teach you one of the many life lessons (faith in yourself)(listen to the inside). Some people are just unhappy. There is nothing you can do about it. You will not change these people. It doesn't matter what facts you present them or ideas you share with them. They will always find fault in it.
They have already decided for themselves that they will be miserable forever because that is just the way life is. They decided for them. Are you going to let these people decide for you? These people could be your coworkers, friends, family, and even your spouse.
CUT OUT THE NEGATIVITY
NEVER GIVE UP, JUST KEEP DOING YOU.

Not only do you have to surround yourself with your people, but you have to get away from the ones who are not your people.
