I'm not a preacher, and most would say I wasn't a very godly person for a real long time. Life changes, and we start to realize that the things we once thought were so important are not.
I'm going to tell everyone from the rooftops.
Even if you don't believe in the Lord, there are common decency values that should be embedded in your being. The older I get the more I see that people don't ever change.
They will always stay where they are comfortable whether it is in misery or not. They will always play the victim.
It will always be someone else's fault for their behavior and problems seems as accountability as just flown out the window in the new age of fakeness.
There are very few honest people in this world.
If you find one, hold on to them.
They will help you keep your peace.
They will hold you up on your bad days.
They will pray for you in silence.
They will do all the things that are required no matter what the circumstances are.
Because that is who they are.
If you are fortunate enough to have a person in your life like this, be grateful.
Most are surrounded by toxicity that is out of control, and definitely out of your control.
Things that we cannot control need to be handed over to God. The Lord works out all the things you don't even know about.
Be grateful.
Be merciful.
Be exactly who you are.
Be honest.
For if you judge, you will be judged.
In all reality, life is just too short for all of these ridiculous behaviors. Just learn to keep your peace.
In the end you have to find YOUR peace. Hold it dear to your heart, and don't let others steal it. It's not theirs to have.
Love your faces,
